1. The "Zero-Knowledge" Principle

This Service is built on a "zero-knowledge" and "zero-data" principle. This means:

• We collect, store, and process absolutely no personal information or User Data.
• Your Master Password, PIN, and the contents of your password file are never transmitted from your device and are never seen by the developer.

2. How the App Works & Data Control

The Service operates entirely on your device. When you open an encrypted file, it is read into your device's memory for decryption. When you save, it is encrypted in memory and then written back to a file location you control. You, and you alone, are the custodian and "data controller" (as defined by GDPR) of your encrypted file.

3. Cookies and Tracking (Website)

The Keychain website does not use cookies or any other tracking technologies. No analytics, no session cookies, no advertising trackers. Your visit is anonymous.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service does not integrate with any third-party services for data processing. Any interaction with third-party cloud storage (like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) is initiated by you through your device's native file system, and the Service only handles the encrypted file you select. We do not have any API access to your accounts.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the Service.
